The space

The living space: you walk into the living room with beautiful high ceiling, brand new modern updated decor with lots of natural light. The kitchen and dining room provide ample supplies and seating for 6 guests.
The best room, the sunroom, will swing you into a state of pure relaxation. Snuggle up in an egg chair with your favorite book and enjoy water views from every window.
The bedrooms:
Room 1: the master bedroom is located upstairs. It has own king size bed, tv and its own bathroom with an incredible view that overlooks the lake and modern walk-in doorless shower.
Room 2: is located downstairs on the main living area. It has its own king size bed. It shares a hallway full bathroom and overlooks the lush mountain greenery.
Room 3: is a loft bedroom with its own king size bed. It has incredible views that overlook the lake.

Property has multiple landings for outdoor entertainment.

NEVER BEEN TO WATAUGA LAKE?

Watauga Lake is an extremely beautiful and clean recreational lake (3rd cleanest in the country) located in the Cherokee National forest with 105 miles of shoreline. More than half of the lake is mountainous national forest and cannot be developed, so it’s naturally beautiful and not crazy overpopulated with boats. This hidden gem is known to be one of the most beautiful lakes on the east coast. Watauga lake is great for boating, jet-skiing, tubing, skiing/wakeboarding, fishing, swimming, kayaking etc.

Downstream of the dam is a very popular whitewater rafting area as most of the local companies in TN and NC bring their patrons here. Hiking is also very popular as the Appalachian trail and a couple of small waterfalls are nearby. This property is also close to attractions in Boone, Banner Elk and Blowing Rock, NC and attractions in eastern TN.

We have great sunny summers with no mosquitoes and beautiful fall colors when the leaves change. In the wintertime, skiing is a popular option at nearby Sugar and Beech Mountain. This is a spectacular mountain and lake getaway.

*You are in a rural area of the Cherokee national forest.
*Starlink Satellite internet. It usually averages 20-120mbps speeds. However be advised, can experience slower speeds during peak hours and become intermittent / experience outages during weather events.
